Isabella Paul

Isabella is a trained family mediator offering a supportive and affordable mediation process grounded in Rebecca's proven framework. Once mediation is complete, Rebecca reviews and drafts your legally binding Separation Agreement, providing the added reassurance of oversight from a senior family lawyer with more than 20 years of experience. This option allows you to complete your Separation Agreement at a reduced fee while still benefiting from a clear, structured, and legally informed process.

I am a Family Mediator based in Victoria, BC, and I am completing the final stages of qualifying to join the Mediate BC Family Roster in April 2026. I conduct supportive and  mediations using Rebecca’s established systems and structured approach, which have helped hundreds of couples reach clear, practical agreements.

I have completed formal mediation and conflict resolution training through the ADR Institute of BC and the Justice Institute of BC, and I have completed additional training through Harvard’s Program on Negotiation. I trained directly with Rebecca and apply her proven framework to guide couples through each stage of the mediation process with clarity and care.

Clients who work with me receive a more affordable option while still benefiting from a structured, legally informed process. When mediation is complete, Rebecca reviews and drafts the final Separation Agreement, providing the reassurance of legal oversight from a senior family lawyer and mediator with more than 20 years of experience.

My professional background in education, law, and public service shapes how I support families through separation. I stay calm under pressure, maintain strict confidentiality, and create a respectful environment where both people feel heard. I understand that separation can feel overwhelming. My role is to provide steady guidance, clear information, and practical next steps so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
