Filling in the Divii form and uploading the documents requested is taking a major step toward an efficient process. It is nearly impossible for people to make decisions in the absence of information. If you leave this out, it will almost always extend the process and cost more.
A pension marriage-breakdown statement, a business valuation or an appraisal takes weeks, not days. Everything else waits on them.
Talk to a lender about whether you can take over the mortgage. Get legal or financial advice. You cannot agree to something you have not checked.
Not your position, your interests. What matters most, what you could live without, and what a good outcome looks like a year from now.
Coming out of mediation, your agreement is not binding. That is deliberate. It gives both of you the chance to take it to your own lawyer before it becomes something you are held to.
The only exception is when you attend with your lawyers and everyone agrees to sign at the end of the session.
