Family Mediation Services in Victoria, BC

I work with separating couples to help them make clear, informed decisions about parenting, financial support, and property distribution, and to formalize those decisions in a legally binding separation agreement. My services are designed to support practical planning, reduce conflict, and create a workable path forward for families in Victoria and across British Columbia.

Some couples come to mediation knowing what they want to agree on. Others arrive feeling uncertain or stuck. Both are common. My role is to provide structure, legal context, and steady guidance so you can work through the decisions you need to make together and move forward with clarity.

Parenting Mediation

Parenting mediation focuses on helping parents create a clear and workable parenting plan. This includes how decisions will be made, how time with the children will be shared, and how parents will communicate going forward.

I help parents move beyond day-to-day disagreements and focus on the kind of co-parenting relationship they want to build over time. Parenting plans are tailored to the needs of your children and the realities of your family’s life.

Financial Mediation

Financial mediation focuses on the financial issues that arise on separation. It is typically for families without children and can include spousal support, division of property and debts, pensions, and other financial planning decisions.

I provide legal information and structure to help you understand how the law applies in BC, while supporting practical, realistic decision-making. The goal is to create financial arrangements that are fair, clear, and workable in real life.

Parenting & Financial Mediation

Many couples need to address both parenting and financial issues. Parenting and financial mediation provides a comprehensive process that allows you to work through all aspects of your separation together.

Doing it all at once creates the most efficient and coherent outcome, since parenting and financial decisions are closely connected. It also allows agreements to be reached in a way that supports a complete and well-integrated separation agreement.

Support Recalculations

Support recalculations are appropriate when child support or spousal support needs to be reviewed due to changes in income or circumstances. This service is more focused and limited in scope than full mediation.

I help you review updated financial information, understand how the law applies, and document revised support arrangements clearly and accurately.

Online Mediation

Online mediation allows couples across BC to participate in mediation remotely. This option can be helpful when parties live in different locations or prefer not to meet in person.

The process remains structured, confidential, and legally informed, with the same focus on practical decision-making and clear outcomes.

Next Steps

A pre-mediation meeting can help clarify your options and determine the best approach for your situation. If you are separating and would like to understand how mediation or separation agreement services might work for you, the next step is to schedule an pre-mediation meeting. You do not need to have a plan before you start. The process exists to help you create one together.
